Upholstery / Recovering Services (For clients within Singapore only)
How long does it take to re-upholster a average 3+2 seater sofa set?
  • It takes approximately 7 - 10 days to complete the upholstery job from the date of collection.

Do I have to pay deposit ?

  • Yes, deposit of 30% of the total amount has to be paid in advance for ALL re-upholstery orders. The balance can be paid on delivery.

How do I see the fabric collection?

  • You can view them in our online fabric store or we can arrange a sale person to visit you with the fabric samples to give you a free quote. Alternatively you visit our showroom at Blk 5022 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 2, #03-09, Singapore 569525 for wider selection of Fabrics.

Do I have to fix an appointment before I go to the showroom?

  • Yes, it is advisable to fix an appointment beforehand so that our sales staff can assist you better.You can call us at Tel: 6484 1146 or email us at info@apex5.com, to fix the appointment.

How long does it take to customize a average 3+2 seater sofa set?
  • It takes approximately 1 - 2 months to complete the custom job from the date of order. The time gap may vary depending on the workmanship on the Sofa Set.

  • Yes, deposit of 50% of the total amount has to be paid in advance for ALL Custom Furniture orders. The balance can be paid on delivery.

Curtain Sewing & Installation Services (For clients within Singapore only)
How long does it take to sew curtains for a bedroom house?
  • It takes approximately 14 days to sew and install the curtains from the date of approval.

How do I see the fabric collection?

  • You can view them in our online fabric store or we can arrange a sale person to visit you with the fabric samples to give you a free quote.

How long does it take to wash a 9x6ft carpet?
  • It takes approx 7 - 10 days to complete the washing.

How do you wash or repair the carpets?

  • With more than 15 years of experience, all cleaning repairs and restoration are done by qualified carpet weavers from Iran.

What are the type of carpets you wash & repair?

  • Basically we wash and repair all types of handmade carpets from Iran, Kashmir, Afghan, China, Turkey, Pakistan etc.

How will you collect the carpets.

  • Just fill up the Carpet Collection Form and submit
  • Call us during office hours and we will arrange for collection
Online Purchase of Fabric
 

I need more information about your merchandise. What should I do?

  • You can call our customer service dept at Tel: 0065 64841146 (9am - 6pm week days and 9am - 1pm Saturdays, Singapore time) of you can email us your enquiries at enquiries@apex5.com

 

What if you are out of stock on an item I have ordered?

  • We offer you three choices:
    (1) Ship Immediately - Cancel any item that is not in stock and ship the rest immediately. I will accept a partial order. I understand you will email me if an item is in stock but the quantity available is less than I ordered;
    (2) Ship in One Week - If Apex5 is expecting new inventory, you may hold my order for up to 5 business days. I will accept a partial order if the missing items do not arrive;
    3) Ship Complete Order - Ship my order only if the full amount of every item is available. I will not accept a partial order. You are asked to select between these three options at the time you make your purchase.

 

Do you have a minimum order size?

  • The smallest piece of fabric that we sell is one meter.

 

Do you ever sell second quality fabrics?

  • Not knowingly. All the fabric we ship is inspected when it is measured. Occasionally, there may be something we don't see. Should you ever receive flawed or defective fabric, please return that fabric to us for a refund or exchange.

 

Can I change my order after I've placed it, and how do I do this?

  • Maybe. Since we fill orders as fast as we can, you have to be pretty fast yourself if you want to change your order. A change made within minutes will be certain to take effect. A change made within hours still has a good chance. Next day is far less likely.

  • To notify us of a change, just send us an e-mail. We will e-mail back to let you know whether or not we were able to accommodate your request. If your efforts prove to be for naught, don't despair. You'll be able to return what you don't want. However, we do not reimburse the original shipping and handling charge on your invoice.

Swatches
 

Can I get fabric swatches?

  • Yes, swatches may be obtained for any fabric. An option for ordering a swatch is found on each fabric page (the same page from which you would order the fabric).

  • Unfortunately, because filling an order for swatches involves many of the same steps required to fill an order for yardage, we do have to charge for swatches. Swatches are not returnable with the single exception of large (one yard) decorator fabric swatches.

  • Fabric Swatches
    A 2" x 4" fashion fabric swatch is $1.00. There is no mailing or shipping charge for fashion fabric swatches.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We really want to encourage payment by credit card as this is what our site is set up to handle. The credit cards we accept are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. If you wish to pay by cheque or money order, it should be mailed to us after the order has been placed.

Do yu charge for shipping?
  • We are having a promotion and therefore shipping is free.
     

 
How quickly do you ship?

Most orders go out the first or second business day after being received.

Return Policy
 

What is your return policy?

  • Our merchandise is sold on a satisfaction guaranteed basis. That means that the merchandise you purchase can be returned, and your money will be refunded. There is one important exception. Curtain and upholstery fabric returns are assessed a 20% restocking fee. For this reason, we strongly suggest that customers obtain swatches before making a final decision on drapery or upholstery fabric.

  • Returns must be made within 30 days of our invoice date. Returns sent COD or collect will not be accepted. We cannot provide refunds for merchandise we have not received. You may want to consider requesting a return receipt when mailing merchandise of substantial value.

  • When your return is received, we will issue a refund to your credit card for the value of the merchandise returned and sales tax, if any. Our general rule is that we do not reimburse the original shipping and handling charge on your invoice. There are two exceptions: (1) return of fabric that is flawed or damaged and (2) return of one meter pieces of curtain or upholstery fabric that have been purchased as one meter swatches.
